Dear Maple Runners,
I don’t know about all of you but I am ready for Spring. The last few days have been really nice with the sunshine and warmer temperatures. I love it when God gives us these special moments of warmth and sun.
I just finished reading the booklet, “Quaker Decision Making & Clerking”. After reading the booklet, I feel we are doing really well at Maple Run. I know we may not always agree on a particular topic, project or work that may need done, but we do come to a consensus and are able to work together to further God’s kingdom.
A couple things that we are working on and you will see coming to fruition soon are:
We currently have volunteers sharing their gifts at Give Kids the World in Orlando. From the pictures and things I have heard our first week team gave blessings to many and received blessings for their efforts. Please continue to pray for the 2nd week team that begins working at GKTW today.
Something that has been on my heart a lot the past six months or so; I feel I am being called to do something more. Do you feel God asking more of you? I have prayed for God to reveal what He wants of me. For me, the time of waiting is hard. I want to know what I should be working on right now! I also know I am a work in progress, God has brought me through multiple life challenges and I am guessing I may have a few more before my life on earth is done. Having said all that, I have decided that God may have a big assignment for me, or not, but in the meantime I am to continue seeking and being all that I can be for Him. I just pray that I am the woman He needs me to be each day.
I challenge you; is God asking you to do more and if so, are you ignoring Him or are you seeking what it is He wants of you? Continue to pray so that you will know what it is you are to do.

- A chair lift in the back stairwell. I am excited for this work to be done; it will give all individuals the opportunity to participate in activities and worship services that are held in the loft area. We are raising funds for this project, if you would like to make a special contribution please get your gift to our treasurer, Kira Turner. Our goal is that the lift be fully operational by the end of May.
- Enclosing the loft area. Very thankful for Mike Horsley to manage this project and for his JG Bowers employees to give volunteer hours to help us. I am not certain when this project will be done, the goal is that the work will start sometime in the spring.
